How would you define your dream wardrobe?
For me, it’s one that allows me to portray effortless style without sacrificing comfort. It’s being able to create matching outfits in a heartbeat, and getting dressed in under 5 minutes each morning. It’s receiving compliments for an outfit I literally just threw on in a hurry.
My dream wardrobe is clear and calm. Not only is it stress-free, it’s also Insta-worthy. I personally curated each item especially for myself, and I love every single one. Each piece had a cost, be it time or money, but it was well spent. I wear them often, and nothing sits forgotten at the back of my closet. I know that they’re durable and will last me a long time. No one else has a wardrobe quite like it.
It’s also one that I’m proud to say paid a living wage to the workers who made it, and one that supports companies who care for the Earth and its inhabitants. It contributes much less to the destruction of our environment and society than regular fashion.
Is this what your dream wardrobe looks like too? What would you add or change?
Now, in reality – I have a few more items to curate before I can say I’ve achieved my dream wardrobe. But I’m practically there. It’s taken me years to figure out, but I finally have a process that truly works.
If your wardrobe reality is far from your dream, it’s time for a wardrobe overhaul (and you can do it in a fraction of the time it took me!).
